What is Billzy?
Billzy (formerly BizBook) is a GST invoicing and inventory ERP for kirana and retail shops. It covers billing, stock and GST workflows in one place and is built to stay simple for small shopkeepers. It is deployed and in real use by small businesses, and was designed and built end to end by Shashank Joshi.
What problem does it solve?
Kirana and retail shops need billing, stock tracking and GST workflows without unnecessary complexity. Billzy brings those jobs together in one simple tool, so a small shop can keep its invoices and its inventory in the same place.
How does it work?
Billzy is a web application for GST invoicing and inventory. Shashank handled the product thinking and UX as well as the full-stack build, working across the interface, the backend and the data layer, and it is now deployed and in use.
What is it built with?
Billzy is built with Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, with Supabase and Prisma behind it.
What does it show?
That Shashank ships real, revenue-relevant products for small businesses: a deployed application in real use, not a demo.
