What is KIRO?
KIRO is a directory of 500+ AI tools, designed, built, curated and run solo by Shashank Joshi. It covers the whole life of the product, from the data model and the interface to the daily upkeep of the catalogue, with one person responsible for all of it.
What problem does it solve?
AI tools multiply faster than anyone can keep track of them. KIRO collects more than 500 of them in a single directory, curated and maintained by one person, so there is one place to look instead of many.
How does it work?
KIRO is a Next.js web application backed by Supabase. Shashank designed the interface, modelled the data, built the application and keeps the catalogue up to date himself, which is why the project spans everything from the data model to daily upkeep.
What is it built with?
KIRO is built with Next.js, Supabase and Tailwind CSS.
What does it show?
Scale and independent execution: a 500+ tool catalogue built, curated and kept current by one person.
